Carol (Christopher) Arnold

Partner / VP Marketing and Sales

Carol has a B.S. in Education and has worked in sales and marketing for most of her career, primarily in technical applications. 

As a List Broker for DataProducts USA, she serviced the wholesale/resale markets.  Utilizing her technical and marketing expertise, she quickly rose to Group Leader for their on-line list ordering system.

When DataProducts USA finished business operations in May, 2008, Carol was given the opportunity to continue her core business, joining with Chris and Shelli Dyer to form ListAbility, Inc.

Carol has the qualities that enable her to provide guidance for a wide range of clients as they obtain data for their campaigns.  Her strong knowledge of the databases and the creativity for marketing helps to coach marketers to select the best list criteria.  Her technical orientation, along with educational background enables her to guide clients to efficiently utilize ListAbility Online to achieve maximum results.

As a Partner in the business, Carol is now enacting many of her ideas to improve the quality of client experience and client productivity. This, along with her sales success has contributed to a strong and growing business.

Carol works in Norwell, MA. She and her new husband Richard enjoy outdoor activities that include skiing and sailing.

Shelli Dyer

Partner / VP Accounting

1983 - 1989 - Shelli started her career in Direct Marketing in 1983 when she created a Co-Op Direct Mail Advertising Business called "The Clipper." A retail focused company. In 1985 she added another Co-Op called "The Service Source." This business was geared towards service businesses that dealt primarily with homeowners.

1989 - 1995 - She relocated to South Florida in 1989. She took over her father’s Advertising Specialty Business in 1990 and successfully ran that enterprise until 1995.

Shelli restructured her specialties business to focus primarily on custom imprinted magnetic business cards and plastic cards. The company is celebrating its 13th year anniversary.

Chris Dyer

1988-1989 - Chris started his career in the Direct Marketing trade when he took a position as Assistant Production Manager at Mail America, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

1989-1990 - He opened his first Direct Marketing business called American International Mailers, Fort Lauderdale, FL. This company focused on lettershop production services.

1991-1999 - Chris merged his client business with Strategic Marketing Systems (SMS). Hollywood, FL. Chris refined his knowledge of Direct Marketing during his initial years with SMS, working his way up the ladder until reaching the title of Vice President, Marketing & Sales. He worked at SMS and its subsequent owners, First Image and Accudocs for a total of 9 years.

2000 - 2004 - Chris joined Nordis Direct as the company's Senior Direct Marketing Specialist. After 3 very successful years developing and enhancing direct marketing programs for Nordis Direct's clients, Chris was asked to create a List Division. In the Spring of 2003, DataVizion was opened for business. A year and half after the successful launch of this new mailing list and analytics division, Chris decided to open his own list company.

Additional Biography

Chris has been a hands-on direct marketer for over 20 years. He has won two Max Sackheim Awards for direct marketing excellence and has been a frequent speaker on the subject of direct marketing principles, including speaking engagements with the Postal Customer Council, the American Marketing Association, the Florida Direct Marketing Association, the Advertising Club of Fort Lauderdale, the Public Relations Society, Nova University, Barry University and Florida Atlantic University, as well as speaking engagements for BellSouth ADVO and Baby Guard employees.
He has been very active working with the Florida Direct Marketing Association, holding positions of Director of Student Affairs, Director at Large and Convention Chairman for DM Days 1993 and 1994. Chris has worked on several hundred direct marketing programs for many different industries. A partial listing of client experience includes American Express, BellSouth, Phillip Morris, JC Penney, Fairfield Resorts, ACSIA, Summit Technologies, LCA Vision, Florida Prepaid College and Life Extension Foundation.

Chris served one term in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Between 1978 and 1981. This position required a top secret clearance as well as a Secret Background Investigation (Honorable Discharge). He has an Associates Degree in Business from MCC, Rochester, NY 1984.
